For folks who have been wanting to dive into Astrophotography this one night outing will get the wheels spinning and take the hassle out of learning the art of Astrophotography. We will meet Saturday afternoon in the mountains outside of Maggie Valley, NC for a (3 mile) hike to our first location, spending the night shooting and camping out by a fire. Throughout the night we will cover how to focus at night, how to expose properly for night sky’s, basic composition and incorporating foreground elements. After sunrise we will get breakfast and and go over some editing techniques. Campsites will be available and gear can be rented too if need be!

Wider lens preferably around 18 or wider on a crop frame and 24 or wider on a full frame ( the wider the more stars you can fit! )
